​Josh was my first experience with a personal trainer.  Being so, he had no shoes to fill, but definitely had something to prove. I never thought of myself as needing a personal trainer. My body type has always been lean and in "shape", but was missing something. Josh was able to target my body type with a regime that was realistic, but intense in a way to make every trip worthwhile. First off, I’d like to thank the staff at True You Fitness for their dedication and commitment to personal growth. After spending time with some of the trainers I did elect to sign up for some personal training sessions which has gone from one session per month now to multiple sessions per month. The care and diligence taken by the staff to understand my needs and goals has helped me get back on my feet again and truly get my life back on track. Special thanks go out to Josh Carter for his excellent motivation skills. I have always been physically active; playing soccer, basketball, and running cross country. Up until recently, my daily workout had become stale and boring, consisting of me coming into the gym and doing the same exercises over and over with no results. Then I met Josh Carter. Josh has shed light on multiple new exercises, techniques, and concepts that I have been able to apply to my daily routine. He has helped me with my form and has been very instructional and thorough in his teaching of physical fitness and how each exercise relates to the different muscle groups in my body. I have lost 10 lbs in the last 2 months, while putting on a noticeable amount of muscle.
